Our story

About Us

A Pinch of Ceylon started as a simple idea: most advice online isn't made for life in Sri Lanka. Recipes assume imported ingredients, tips assume prices and products we don't have, and living well is often sold as something expensive. Everyday life here looks different, and the guidance should too.

"Because, let's be honest, that much cheese will not suit our diets or our budgets."

Our story

So we built something for us instead: quick recipes, kitchen hacks, money-saving tips, and practical know-how for a good life in Sri Lanka. Everything is based on ingredients from our own markets and designed around Sri Lankan budgets and busy schedules.

Whether you're a student in your first rented room, a parent juggling work and school runs, a professional short on time, someone living alone, or a family stretching the month's budget, you'll find ideas you can use the same day. Cook smarter, spend less, waste less, and enjoy the small things, one pinch at a time.
